Standing On Wellness

Cookie Policy

Last reviewed July 2026

The short version: this website sets no cookies of its own. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking of any kind. The only cookies you may encounter are set when you sign in to the member area, and they exist so that signing in works at all.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies are often useful and sometimes invasive. A cookie that keeps you logged in is doing a job you asked for. A cookie that follows you across unrelated websites to build an advertising profile is doing a job nobody asked for. We use the first kind only, and only where it is unavoidable.

Related technologies do the same thing under different names, including local storage, session storage, pixels, and web beacons. This policy covers all of them, not just cookies in the strict sense, because the distinction matters to engineers and not to you.

Cookies we set: none

The pages on standingonwellness.com contain no analytics code, no advertising or retargeting pixels, no social media trackers, and no cookies written by us. You can read every page on this website without anything being stored on your device by us and without us learning who you are.

The member application

Standing On Wellness: The System does not use cookies. It does use local storage, which is a storage area in your own browser, to keep your progress and your name available on your device so the application works instantly and continues to work if your connection drops.

What is stored locally is your display name, the email address associated with your membership, and your protocol and habit progress. This information stays in your browser. Your progress is also saved to our server so it is available when you sign in on another device.

This storage is necessary for the application to function. There is no version of a progress tracker that does not remember your progress. You can clear it at any time using the controls described below, though doing so will sign you out and remove your locally saved progress.

Cookies set by others

Three services we rely on may set cookies. We do not control them and we receive nothing from them.

Signing in. Our member login is operated by Softr, and sign-in with Google is operated by Google. Both set cookies that keep you signed in and protect your account against sign-in abuse. These are strictly necessary. Refusing them does not degrade the experience, it prevents logging in entirely.

Security and hosting. Our websites are served by Cloudflare, which may set a cookie used to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic. This is a security function and carries no advertising purpose.

Policy documents. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages display documents hosted by Termly, which may set cookies needed to render them. Our Disclaimer, this Cookie Policy, and our Accessibility statement are hosted by us directly and involve no third party.

Fonts

In the interest of telling you everything rather than only the flattering parts: our pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts. This sets no cookies, but it does mean your browser contacts a Google server and Google therefore receives your IP address. We are noting it because it is a connection to a third party that you did not explicitly choose, and we would rather disclose it than have you discover it.

Other places we exist

Our community is hosted on Skool and our herbal products are sold at restoredbylife.com. Both are separate platforms on separate domains with their own cookie practices, and this policy does not extend to them. When you leave our website, the policies of wherever you land apply.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not run analytics or behavioural tracking. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not track you across other websites. We do not sell or share personal information, and because we do not, there is nothing for a "do not sell my information" request to act on. We honour Global Privacy Control signals by default, since we are already doing what such a signal asks for.

Why there is no cookie banner

You may have noticed we do not interrupt you with a consent pop-up. That is deliberate. Consent is required before setting cookies that are not necessary, and we do not set any. A banner offering you toggles that control nothing would be theatre, and it would imply we collect more than we do. If that ever changes, and it may if we add a store or start publishing video, we will add proper consent controls before the technology that requires them, not after.

How to control cookies and stored data

You are always in control of what your browser stores, independent of anything we do. Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings in a section named Privacy, Security, or Site Settings. You can also browse privately, which discards site data when you close the window.

Blocking all cookies will prevent you from signing in to the member area, because the sign-in cookies described above are what keep you logged in. Blocking cookies has no effect on your ability to read this website.

To remove data the member application has stored on your device, clear site data for system.standingonwellness.com in your browser settings. To have the progress saved on our server deleted, email support@standingonwellness.com and we will delete it and confirm in writing.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page whenever we add a service that stores anything on your device, and we will change the review date at the top when we do. Because we currently claim to use nothing, this page only stays honest if we maintain it, and we treat that as an obligation rather than a formality.
